Nut Free Easter Chocolate – It’s All About the Kids
When it comes to Easter chocolate, the choices and selection is all about the kids. While an adult may sneak a few chocolate Easter eggs (or even occasionally ask permission), the chocolate connoisseurs on Easter morning are, for sure, the kids. That’s why, as we approach the holiday, we get a lot of email from concerned parents asking about allergens. No one wants an allergic reaction on any day, Easter or not. So, it makes sense that for Easter, with our focus on children and Easter egg hunts, that just like the bunnies, the questions multiply. Nut free Easter Chocolate and kids. That’s what it’s all about.
Nut Free and Gluten Free Easter Chocolate
Few things are scarier to a parent than to see their child have an allergic reaction. Parents are rightly vigilant about knowing what’s safe for their kids. So let me reassure you, at Easter and all year-round, our chocolate is nut free and gluten free. And to boot, our chocolate is also free of eggs, sesame, and in certain items, free of dairy as well.
I can practically hear the sighs of relief on the other side of the email exchange when we write back to these parents to say our chocolate is free of nuts, including both peanuts and ground nuts. We always add that there’s no possible cross contamination – our facilities and kitchens are strictly kept free of these allergens.
Can you imagine what it must feel like to have all the other kids around you enjoying Easter chocolate, but not be able to have it yourself? For a kid, that’s pretty rough. For that reason alone, we are thrilled to hear of any new family finding us. We love the stories we get about a child’s first-ever chance to have chocolate (really good chocolate if we do say so ourselves) for Easter. We all deserve that!
So, what are your nut free Easter chocolate options?
Easter Bunnies
Choose from small, medium, or large floppy-eared bunnies. These guys really capture our heart. I know, they are too cute to eat, but start with a nibble on their ear and see how it goes.
Or, opt for the bunny we all hoped for (hopped for?): the foot-tall traditional bunny.
Then there’s our newest favorites. Did you know that a group of bunnies, like a flock of birds or a gaggle of geese is called a fluffle of bunnies? It’s true. We did not make that up. Our fluffle of mini bunnies comes in dark or milk chocolate.
Easter Eggs
Choose from bite-size, super satisfying solid chocolate Easter eggs in dark or milk chocolate.
Or, go for the larger-than-life, beautifully decorated buttercream eggs. No matter what, the kids will be in deliriously happy and they’re all nut free.
Need more nut free Easter chocolate options? How about chocolate sheep? These little guys are pretty cute. The white sheep is milk chocolate on the inside. The dark sheep is 70% dark chocolate.
Peeps
Love ‘em or not – Peeps are much better when dipped and chocolate and they too are nut free. We’ve done our homework, of course, and we know they’re made in a facility that’s also nut and gluten free. All of our ingredients are sourced very carefully from nut-free facilities.
Easter chocolate is really all about the kids. And nut free Easter chocolate is crucial to any family with nut-related allergies.
Easter is an especially important time in many families for special treats and chocolate. And if your family is concerned about allergies, knowing your kids’ chocolate is nut free and gluten free means a much happier holiday for all.
